When you are 4 turning 5, it is so hard waiting for your birthday to arrive, but finally, it did! Our princess Ellie had been hinting about how exciting it was to get breakfast in bed, so of course that is how we started her day. And not only was it in bed, but it included her favorite breakfast delicacies - cinnamon toast, sausage, yogurt and hot chocolate, yummy! Most of our day was spent doing what she enjoys....staying in her pajamas for a looong time, painting, coloring, reading, playing.
A few days before her birthday, I told her she could choose anything she wanted for her birthday dinner. I thought it was too cute that my almost 5 yr. old would request Salmon, Edamame (soy beans), "but no salad please"!
Once again, I feel like my children are growing up much too fast, I can't believe that it was 5 years ago that my little Ellie, with her shock of black hair, was born. What a sweet and spunky little spirit she is, we are so blessed to have her as a part of our family.

That was so cute, Ellie. I hope you had a great time on your birthday. This was a happy day for you and I want you to know that I was happy for you to turn 5 like me. It was exciting to have you turn 5 like I am.
