Although I am relieved, I can't believe soccer has already come to an end for this season. Both Lauren and Bryson had a fun time, and both played with great teams. Lauren enjoyed playing with her cousin Mckenna, their team name was the Screamin' Lizards (I'm glad their was no mascot!) Bryson played with the Fire Streaks! This year was especially interesting due to the fact that I was roped into being the coach for Bryson's team - funny huh? Really, when the AYSO rep asked, I did laugh and informed her that not only had I never coached, I had personally played VERY little soccer in my entire life. She insisted that if someone didn't step up and coach, the kids couldn't play. Anyway, as coach, we had fun, I learned a lot, and The Fire Streaks didn't do half bad if I do say so myself! (But, I'm done with my turn, and somebody else had better step up next time!)

A Great Week!
Well, I guess it is time to catch up! We had a great last week with Leroy and Eileen here, and believe it or not, we didn't drive them crazy! They landed here only for a week before heading to their other home to enjoy the weather before it gets too hot (so they said....maybe we were too much to handle (?)) I do love my in-laws though and count myself very blessed to enjoy their company so much.
While they were here we took them to see the horses, a very fun outing for us and the horses since we gave them lots of their favorite; molasses covered oats! We also had a fun outing together on Saturday, at least we all thought it was fun, being BYU fans and all. We were invited to the first team scrimmage of the year with VIP seating and luncheon included (thanks Freddy!). The kids thought is was as cool as we adults did. Our only problem was, when all the players are cougars, which team do you cheer for?! Later we had a BBQ at Cath and Freddy's and then left the kids in good hands while the adults enjoyed floor seats at the Utah FLASH game. Twas an eventful and exciting day, (especially because of the chocolate covered cinnamon bears we got from the bookstore!)
