This last week we joined Braxton's side of the family for a big reunion in Star Valley. For those who have never been there - wow is it ever beautiful! The prettiest little valley nestled in the middle of green mountains and pines. It was the first time in 9 years that everyone was together. Family came in from Colorado, Montana, Washington, California, & Utah. We had such a great time playing games, swimming, riding the 4-wheelers, golfing and just being together. It was made complete with evening skits, Uncle Terrel's bear stories and celebrating Leroy's 70th birthday. Of course, every family trip has to have its share of sunburns, mosquito bites and midnight throw up messes...that's what makes it really memorable! The kids had so much fun, they couldn't believe it was time to come home so soon. In fact, Bryson said "how come the days went by so fast?" When I told him that time flies when you're having fun, he said "I guess we shouldn't of had so much fun". Cute boy. We did come home with 2 new friends, Ellie our bug collector adopted Elizabeth the butterfly and Marvin the moth, unfortunately they did not fare very well in captivity and have now gone to bug heaven. So, although the time went too fast and we mourn the loss of Elizabeth & Marvin, we have plenty of memories and look forward to next time!
