June 18th?! Are you kidding me, how did this happen? I know last time I mentioned blinking and a week goes by anymore, but really, (not that I'm a star treky or anything) I think we are going at warp speed. Someone above has decided to just get these last days over with, and has pushed the fast forward button. It makes me panic, my kids are growing up way too fast:(
First thing to tell is that we finally got a piano - Yippee, Yahoo, Yeehaw! I've got Lauren and Bryson in piano lessons with the cutest lady up the road (yippee about the fact that they can walk there too). I truly hope their enthusiasm never fades, but if it does, TOO BAD, piano will not be an option, they will play. Oh, I am so mean!

Next, we got Lexi potty trained. This is exciting, but truthfully it did tear at my heart a little. Not having to buy diapers anymore is great, but it is one of those milestones that just means she's growing out of her babyhood....oh I know I'm a sap! Anyway, she did great. We knew it was time to train when she would follow everyone into the bathroom to watch them do their amazing performance on the toilet, and especially when we would hear Ellie say "No Lexi, you cannot wipe me!" You know how it is to train a two year old - praise, praise and more praise. Well Lexi started praising us as well. She would even follow me into the bathroom, put one of her little hands on each of my legs, lean forward toward me and say, "Mom, good giwl (girl), I so pwoud of you!" She is such a little dolly, I love her so much and could just sit and hold, hug and kiss her all day if she'd let me. I was also thrilled recently to get a new set of wheels. I was sad when we sold the suburban, and frustrated being without a vehicle for a couple of weeks while we searched for something else. You don't realize how much you need a car until you don't have one. Anyway, we really like our Honda Pilot, and I really like being able to go whenever I need to again. Very glad the car search is over, now if we can just find that right house... you will hear me yell glory hallelujah when that search is over!

Not that I haven't known what is going on but it's always fun to read what to have to say!
Congratulations on the piano! I know you've wanted one for so long now. I can't wait to see it.
