We did it!

I just had to document that the kids and I participated in a 5K fun run on Saturday!  It was sponsored by their school and was used as a fundraiser for the schools art program.  I was so proud of the kids, they were really excited for us to do this together, and we kept each other positive and motivated, even up the hills!   What a feeling of accomplishment when we finally crossed the finish line (even for Princesses Ellie and Lexi who I pushed in their double jogger "chariot" - it was easy for them to say "run!" whenever we'd slow to a walk for a bit!)  Afterwards, the kids had smoothies, drew out for prizes, and we roamed the school looking at all the artwork each class had on display for the event.  It was a very fun morning!
