Last night, I began posting the kids first day back to school when we suddenly lost power. So instead, Braxton and I ended up out on the deck enjoying a warm summer breeze and gazing at the stars - it was much more enjoyable than blogging - even though I do really enjoy that too! Anyway, Monday morning went smoothly, and I was relieved that we got out the door on time, with everyone fully dressed, supplies in backpacks, everyone eager, and most importantly, girls nails coordinating with their outfits. Later, I was so happy to see smiles on Lauren's, Bryson's and Ellie's faces when I picked each of them up at the end of their day. Lauren reported that she had the nicest teacher in the whole world, Bryson said that both recesses were the best ever, and Ellie made a new friend - Phew! I think it's going to be a great year!
