While Braxton was being a mountain man, the kids and I decided we should have a great weekend too. We did several fun things including a visit to Pioneer park. Along with Grandma, aunties and baby cousins we had a good time looking around a participating in pioneer activities.

We had a great time. I love outings that not only entertain, but teach and make you appreciate too. When we got home that night, I was so grateful to use my flushy (indoor) toilet, throw a load of laundry into the washing machine, and crawl into a soft, comfortable bed. I am so grateful for the pioneers and what they went through, especially while forging their way here, and I am very grateful that I live now....with running water and air conditioning!
